1. About this Privacy Policy

Reel Showhouse LLC (“Reel Showhouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates reelshowhouse.com, the Reel Showhouse mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how Reel Showhouse LLC handles information when you use the Service. Reel Showhouse is currently in pre-release development, and some app features described below may not yet be available.

2. Information we may collect

Website information

The current Reel Showhouse website does not include advertising trackers, an account login, or a marketing signup form. Our hosting and network providers may process ordinary technical information necessary to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and security logs.

Account and profile information

When production accounts become available, we may collect information you provide to create and manage an account, such as an email address, username, display name, authentication information, profile settings, and account preferences.

Viewing and activity information

Reel Showhouse may store your saved movies and series, episode progress, watch history, ratings, reactions, comments, followed entertainment professionals, genres, recommendations, notification preferences, and other choices you make in the app.

Social and user-generated content

If you use social features, we may process friend requests, accepted connections, Circles, messages, comments, ratings, reports, blocks, and other content or interactions you choose to create. Private features are intended to be available only to the people or groups you select, subject to moderation and safety needs.

Device and notification information

We may process device identifiers, app version, operating system information, diagnostics, and push-notification tokens needed to operate and secure the Service. If QR scanning is enabled, camera access will be requested only when needed for that feature.

Subscription information

If paid features are offered through Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores process your payment method. Reel Showhouse may receive subscription status, product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to provide paid features. We do not intend to receive or store your full payment-card number.

3. How we use information

• Provide and personalize tracking, discovery, recommendations, social features, and notifications.
• Maintain your account, preferences, library, progress, and subscription entitlements.
• Deliver and moderate messages, comments, ratings, friend requests, Circles, reports, and blocks.
• Protect users and the Service from abuse, fraud, spam, security threats, and violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
• Troubleshoot errors, measure reliability, and improve Reel Showhouse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We also do not currently use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.

Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the Service, such as website hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, database, push-notification, crash-reporting, and payment-platform providers. We intend to limit these providers to information reasonably necessary to perform their services.

Reel Showhouse also uses third-party entertainment data and links, such as movie and television metadata, trailers, and streaming availability. When you follow a link to an external service, that service’s privacy practices apply.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the rights or safety of users or others, investigate abuse or security issues, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

5. Retention and deletion

We intend to retain account information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, account-associated personal information and user-generated content will be deleted or de-identified, subject to limited retention where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

Backups and security logs may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted. We will describe material production retention periods more precisely once the final backend is deployed.

6. Your choices and rights

You can control many settings from within the app, including viewing preferences, notifications, friends, blocks, and content you choose to post. When production accounts are available, Reel Showhouse will provide an in-app method to initiate account deletion.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide additional rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or use of your personal information. You may contact privacy@reelshowhouse.com to make a privacy request.

7. Children’s privacy

Reel Showhouse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Reel Showhouse, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should also protect their credentials and report suspected account compromise promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Reel Showhouse evolves. We will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice of material changes.
