Delete your Reel Showhouse account
Reel Showhouse is operated by Reel Showhouse LLC. Once production accounts are available, Reel Showhouse will provide a readily discoverable account-deletion option inside the app. You will also be able to start a deletion request from this webpage without reinstalling the app.
External deletion request
To request deletion by email, contact privacy@reelshowhouse.com using the email address associated with your Reel Showhouse account when possible. Include your Reel Showhouse username so we can locate the correct account.
Never send your password, one-time authentication code, or payment-card number. We may ask for limited verification necessary to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
What deletion is intended to remove
Subject to the final production implementation, account deletion will remove or de-identify account-associated information such as your profile, viewing library and progress, social connections, messages, comments, ratings, followed people, push-notification identifiers, and other user-generated content associated with the account, except information we must retain for legitimate legal, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your Reel Showhouse account may not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the applicable store’s subscription-management tools to stop future renewal charges.
How long deletion takes
We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonably prompt period. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or security systems before being overwritten or deleted, and limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
